"WWS" is an amazing brand that emerged from a plumbing company and created a "new genre of clothing" called "suit-style workwear."
This collaboration between "WWS" and "MOONRAKERS," which aims to evolve clothing, is truly a challenge to "change the way clothing exists."
Our challenge continued with last summer's "Invincible Pocket T-shirt" and this spring's "Invincible Hoodie," and across both projects, we received support from over 3,000 people.
Furthermore, after general sales, it became so popular that it repeatedly sold out, receiving enthusiastic support with comments like: "It's an essential piece of clothing for everyday life!" and "I only wear this now!"
Once again, we express our heartfelt gratitude for everyone's truly warm support.
Amidst this, the most requested next product from everyone was the "long-sleeve T-shirt" that we are launching this time.
To answer those requests, we have been working at full speed this summer to launch it quickly.
Guided by your voices, this is a product into which we have poured our hearts.

"Ripple Fisher x MOONRAKERS" To all who love fishing
Today, we are excited to announce the launch of our first collaboration with Ripple Fisher, a high-end Japanese fishing rod brand. The "RF MOON-TECH® T-shirts," developed for all fishing enthusiasts, are now available on our online store!
"Ripple Fisher" is an excellent rod manufacturer based in Kumamoto Prefecture, producing high-quality, Made-in-Japan fishing rods. Their lure fishing rods, in particular, are highly acclaimed worldwide. They specialize in completely handmade production by skilled craftsmen and are known for their strong yet lightweight rod designs.
They are also a rod manufacturer that uses carbon fiber from Toray, the parent company of "MOONRAKERS."
In fact, Toray's carbon material is used extensively in high-end applications like rockets and F1 cars due to its overwhelming lightness and high strength, but it's not commonly used in fishing rods. This is because despite its high quality, it inevitably results in a higher price.
However, "Ripple Fisher" continues to use Toray's materials despite this.
During this collaboration, we heard about this and asked, "Why do you still use Toray's materials?" They answered immediately:
"Because the quality is different. Our meticulously crafted rods require Toray's quality."
We were deeply impressed by that answer. And we strongly felt that if we were to create clothing for anglers, which many had requested, we wanted to do it with them first.
The fishing scene is actually a very harsh environment, with sweat, dirt, sunburn, and odors. We wondered if the overwhelming high functionality of "MOON-TECH®" could be effective in dealing with these challenges.
Based on this hypothesis, "Ripple Fisher" had their field staff repeatedly test the shirts during actual fishing. The three functions that received particularly strong support were:

1｜Moisture-wicking and quick-drying:
"The comfort of cotton, the functionality of an ultimate dry T-shirt"—that's exactly what this shirt is. Incredibly comfortable, yet overwhelmingly functional. It didn't stick to the skin even in poorly ventilated areas, dried quickly, and remained free from stickiness.
2｜Deodorizing:
The deodorizing function, specifically targeting the ammonia odor which is a main component of sweat, significantly reduced unpleasant smells even in situations where washing was difficult. My family even told me, "Please, just wear that shirt all the time!" (laughs)
3｜Stain-resistant:
It resisted stains from fish blood and the EVA material used on rod grips, and even if stains occurred, they washed off easily. Fishing inevitably involves dirt. We tend to choose black T-shirts, but black T-shirts get hot in the summer sun. But white T-shirts are ruined after one use. With this T-shirt, a "fresh white T-shirt" became a realistic option, which was previously out of the question, thanks to its level of stain resistance.
"Ripple Fisher" began with a request from a fisherman.
"I can't catch certain fish, so I need a strong, tenacious rod."
Ripple Fisher started by building a specialized rod to meet that demand.
Their consistent stance has been to "create rods that fulfill customers' dreams," and while they have expanded their challenges over time, what remains unchanged is:
"To be a reliable tool in extreme conditions."
That's why they are absolutely meticulous about "quality" in both materials and manufacturing.
We at MOONRAKERS deeply resonate with this spirit, and with the desire to reach "all those who love fishing," we have shaped this product together.
This time, we intentionally made the sizing the same as the original MOONRAKERS, making it easy for existing MOONRAKERS fans to use. On the other hand, the design is meticulously crafted, featuring the "Ripple Fisher" logo on the left chest and back. The design exudes presence and sophistication, making it stand out remarkably in fishing scenes. This intricate design is only possible with advanced printing technology (the latest DTF printing technology). Additionally, the print on the back neck features an original double-name design, embodying the aspirations of both companies. The cool yet somewhat warm design pairs perfectly with the "MOON-TECH®" material, making it an ideal choice not only for outdoor and fishing scenes but also for everyday town use.
Moving forward, through "MOONRAKERS" activities, we aim to collaborate with and introduce wonderful people from diverse genres, not limited to apparel.

The intense summer heat has become an annual event, and it seems that consecutive scorching days are about to begin this week.

Maximizing the material properties of "MOON-TECH®" to reduce discomfort from sweat, it offers a dry and comfortable feel even with heavy perspiration. It significantly reduces the stress of harsh summers, from daily life to active scenes.
By using a common pattern with our collaboration partner, TENEZ, we were able to achieve a quick launch for this product.

Last year, only the pocketed type was available, but in response to your feedback, the [no pocket] type released this year has been restocked!

For items arriving from this batch onwards, the brand name on the back of the collar has been changed from the conventional "woven label" to "transfer print." (We apologize for the delayed announcement.)
We received feedback that the feel of the neckline label was bothersome, so we have implemented this change on a trial basis, starting with this replenishment.

Announcement of Winning the "Senken Synthetic Fiber Award / Marketing Department Award"
As we announced once at the end of last year, we have been awarded the 2025 Senken Synthetic Fiber Award / Marketing Department Award.
Our representative, Nishida, attended the awards ceremony.
The Senken Synthetic Fiber Award is hosted by Senken Shimbun, a trade newspaper for the textile industry. It recognizes initiatives that have contributed to the development of Japan's synthetic fiber industry through raw yarn technology, processing technology, and marketing activities.
Established in 1970, this is the 56th iteration of this prestigious and authoritative award. All the other award winners were major manufacturers whom we look up to.
Amidst such esteemed company, it was a day filled with surprise and deep honor to have our efforts so highly regarded.

A theme that we had long hesitated to take on.
However, thanks to your encouragement, we have bravely decided to launch it this time.

The project starts on Tuesday, March 17th, at 12:00 PM (noon) on "Makuake"!
The item we are taking on this time.
It's the "polo shirt," one of the most beloved and commonly worn garments in daily life.
More formal than a T-shirt.
More casual than a dress shirt.
The ultimate versatile garment that fits anyone, in any situation.
However, polo shirts also come with many concerns.
They're see-through. They stretch out. They wear out quickly.
The collar flips up. It goes flat easily. It doesn't look neat.
Sweat stains, odor, stickiness. The hassle of washing and ironing.
Polo shirts, which should be convenient, often turn out to be a "bundle of stress."
This time, we are challenging ourselves to evolve the polo shirt.
In fact, in the past, we once made a polo shirt with "MOON-TECH®." However, the results were not as expected, and since then, we had been hesitant to venture into polo shirts.
Nevertheless, we kept receiving requests from everyone.

As we addressed these voices, we realized something.

Due to the overwhelming popularity on Makuake, we've used up almost all of the fabric, so we sincerely apologize, but the quantity available for sale will be limited.
For the same reason, the available colors will also be limited to black, khaki, and gray (some sizes only).
Normally, we would offer a full range of colors and sizes. However, we've received many requests and expressions of anticipation, such as "I missed out (crying)" and "I'm eagerly awaiting general sales!"
Therefore, despite the current situation, we will proceed with sales based on the quantity we can currently arrange.
