The raw material for this amazing fabric is Toray's highly hollow nylon staple fiber, which has a hollowness of 45%, meaning it's "almost half air." It is a rare material that is the crystallization of Japan's advanced fiber technology.
Although there was great anticipation for the development of a sweat material using this raw material 20 years ago (in 2001) when development started, it was a very difficult development theme that could not be commercialized in the past due to difficulties with its physical properties and texture.

This time, Project "MOONRAKERS®" resumed this halted development and took on the challenge of creating a "future hoodie made of advanced materials" that leverages the insulation and lightness of air.
Furthermore, we were thoroughly particular about incorporating air not only into the raw material but also into the fabric and post-processing, setting the goal of achieving amazing thermal insulation and an unbelievable level of lightness, and we succeeded in achieving it.
