The raw material for this amazing fabric is Toray's hollow nylon staple fiber, which has a 45% void ratio, making it "almost half air." It is a rare material that embodies Japan's cutting-edge textile technology.
Although there was high anticipation for the development of sweat material using this raw material since its inception 20 years ago (2001), it was a very challenging development theme that had not led to commercialization in the past due to difficulties in physical properties and texture.

This time, Project "MOONRAKERS®" has restarted this stalled development and challenged itself to create a "future hoodie made from advanced materials" that utilizes the insulation and lightness of air.
Furthermore, we were meticulous in incorporating air not only in the raw material but also in the fabric and post-processing. We set the goal of achieving astonishing thermal performance and an unbelievable level of lightweight performance, and we successfully achieved it.
