Our Tokyo Marunouchi Showroom opened on Friday, September 18!

The new showroom is on the first floor of the Shin-Tokyo Building, with easy access from Tokyo Station, Yurakucho Station, and several other stations. It sits beside Marunouchi Nakadori, known for its greenery and stone-paved streets.

We aim to make this a hub where our users, manufacturing partners, and like-minded apparel businesses connect as equals—working together to reshape the textile industry through a collaborative network of specialists.

Spring 2021.
The advanced material, "Chimaera Skin®," was born as the origin of MOONRAKERS.

This time, we have updated the "Chimaera Skin® Coat," the first garment made from this material, and are bringing it to you once again.

"Chimaera Skin®" was MOONRAKERS' first hit product and an early driving force for us.

Many of our early fans still associate MOONRAKERS with Chimaera Skin.

It boasts overwhelming functionality in water repellency, water pressure resistance, and windproofing. Furthermore, while possessing the high-quality feel of leather or oiled cotton, it is surprisingly thin, light, and compact. Moreover, it is tough and long-lasting in all situations.
It can handle sudden rain or wind and also serves as a simple raincoat.

"Chimaera Skin®," which condenses so many charms into a single fabric, received a tremendous response when it launched in 2021.
However, due to its innovative nature, production was extremely difficult, and we had to temporarily discontinue this material.

Nevertheless, we continued to receive requests from you, saying, "I want to wear Chimaera again" and "Please re-release it."

Encouraged by your voices, we spent three years to successfully reproduce it again, and last winter, it was revived as the "Chimaera Skin® Mods Coat."

Today, we are announcing a new collaboration with "MNMM (Minimum)," a brand that develops products with the theme of "minimalist clothing."

Starting September 11 (Fri), MNMM will release,
the "MNMM × MOONRAKERS Airfreak® Sweat" on Makuake.



MNMM’s philosophy is "Clear your thoughts."

As our biggest original product hit on Makuake, this item is incredibly comfortable and surprisingly easy to wear. Yet, it is an "invincible jacket and pants set" that fits perfectly and beautifully into both work and everyday life.

The material used is "MOON-TECH® PILE," which features the high functionality of MOON-TECH® while providing a plump, soft, and comfortable texture. Its moderate thickness and natural firmness ensure that while the fit is relaxed, it creates a beautiful silhouette when worn.

By tailoring it as a standard jacket with lapels and pants with a sleek silhouette, we have created a piece that is versatile for many occasions.


This product was created together by our users, MOONRAKERS, and "Apparel Ota" in Minamishimabara City, Nagasaki Prefecture, who handles the sewing.

We channel the support we receive from you directly into the manufacturing floor, reinvesting it into better working environments and future challenges.

It is a product that can truly be called a symbol of MOONRAKERS, creating this new cycle of manufacturing.

Following feedback received during the Makuake campaign requesting "sizes that offer a looser fit," we have newly added a [BIG] size in addition to [SMALL/LARGE]. This is a new size that allows those who normally wear 2XL/3XL to enjoy a relaxed fit.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude once again for giving us the opportunity to evolve our products even further.

Back to Our Roots: The Evolved Chimaera Skin® Coat

Spring 2021.
The advanced material, "Chimaera Skin®," was born as the origin of MOONRAKERS.

This time, we have updated the "Chimaera Skin® Coat," the first garment made from this material, and are bringing it to you once again.

"Chimaera Skin®" was MOONRAKERS' first hit product and an early driving force for us.

Many of our early fans still associate MOONRAKERS with Chimaera Skin.

It boasts overwhelming functionality in water repellency, water pressure resistance, and windproofing. Furthermore, while possessing the high-quality feel of leather or oiled cotton, it is surprisingly thin, light, and compact. Moreover, it is tough and long-lasting in all situations.
It can handle sudden rain or wind and also serves as a simple raincoat.

"Chimaera Skin®," which condenses so many charms into a single fabric, received a tremendous response when it launched in 2021.
However, due to its innovative nature, production was extremely difficult, and we had to temporarily discontinue this material.

Nevertheless, we continued to receive requests from you, saying, "I want to wear Chimaera again" and "Please re-release it."

Encouraged by your voices, we spent three years to successfully reproduce it again, and last winter, it was revived as the "Chimaera Skin® Mods Coat."

And now.
The stand-collar coat, which symbolizes the original Chimaera Skin®, is back again.

It should allow even those who have recently become fans to experience the origins of MOONRAKERS once more.
