This product was born as a challenge into a new field for us at MOONRAKERS, who have primarily focused on apparel.
Toray's advanced material "SUMMER SHIELD®" boasts high functionality with over 99.99% light-blocking, over 99.9% UV protection, and over 4°C heat-shielding, in addition to excellent water repellency and water pressure resistance of over 20,000mm.
It performs exceptionally well not only against strong sunlight but also against rain.
By combining it with a one-touch automatic opening and closing mechanism, we have pursued comfort as an all-weather umbrella and ease of use in daily life.
Manufacturing is handled by Ichihara Co., Ltd., a long-established umbrella manufacturer founded in 1946 in Nihonbashi Kayabacho.
